This morning we woke up at 5 a.m. It was still dark, with a serene silence, and the air was just perfect.. Oh how I love those early crisp mornings! We were excited to take a trip to the LA Flower Mart. It's so fun to see the different colorful flowers, the different shapes, the way the petals twist and turn. You honestly can't help to get excited! Everywhere you turn there is magnificent color all around you.
I can tell you that this is how we feel when we get ready to go and serve at church. We greet everyone as they walk in. Familiar faces, new faces, and the beautiful faces of the friends that have become so dear to our family. Each one has their own laugh, we have our own jokes, prayers that we are praying together, celebrating our kids, holding each other up in difficult times, sending encouragement/verses, and living life together. I also have flowers from the past that are from my youth, and I have joy seeing that I still have the same support.
It's the same with family, my brother, cousins that we grew up with, aunts, uncles and friends. Year's may have passed but our connection is unbreakable.
Don't you just love the garden God has created and planted all around you? I do it's beautiful colorful, wide and vast!
If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:10
