11/18/2019 0 Comments A closed doorIt was a Friday morning in June and our boy Zeus a 90 lb. Labrador did not feel well for days and was not getting better. I did not sleep much trying to keep his fever down.
My husband and I picked him up to put him in the back of our SUV. We were up early to get to the vet because I had a busy day at work, and I wanted to make sure I took care of Zeus before I left. The vet had an emergency and was not available. We were asked to bring him back. I was so thankful my husband was able to call in and miss work to take Zeus. I was in my office for a couple of hours working when I was called in to my Supervisor's Office. I was told that my position was eliminated! Yes, after being in this career for 19 year's the door was closing. Of course I was taken back, I had to gather myself and stand in faith knowing all was going to be ok and trust! I grabbed my purse and drove to the vet to be with Zeus and husband and take care of the things that were dear to me! I took the weekend to get myself ready to stay to the requested time asked. I knew deep down inside that was the push that I needed to create the Grounded & Joy-Fueled Planner and the other things in my heart! A door closed in an area that I never imagined would. We don't know or can ever predict what God has in store for us. I am excited to see what God will do in this business venture. I give it to Him and am thankful for the beautiful open door that I am walking through to help girls and woman with growth and purpose! xo, Regina See you in the Facebook group!
